Academic Skills – Enhancing your study skills to help you succeed
You can book a confidential 50 minute a one-to-one tutorial either online or in-person to boost your study skills.
The team also run Academic Skills webinars open to all students
Our moodle course provides self-study resources to boost your skills and knowledge
Digital Skills – Giving you the tools and knowledge to effectively use digital technologies for learning and employability.
You can book a one-to-one digital skills support tutorial to enhance your digital skills such as, using Moodle, finding guidance or using a new piece of software.
You have access to LinkedIn learning for students and a Student Digital Community on Teams alongside Student Ed Tech guides
You can use the Digital skills self-assessment tool to identify specific skills you need, receiving a personalised list of support via email based on your responses.
English for Academic Purposes – Improving your written English to boost your essay and exam writing.
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) offers support in English language and academic writing. You can take a course in academic writing during the autumn and spring terms. You can also book one-to-one tutorials throughout the year. Both courses and tutorials can be attended in-person or online, and they are free and unassessed.
